Executive Director of Income Generation




Jo Swinhoe is Director of Income Generation at the NSPCC. Jo sees this role as a once in a lifetime opportunity to return to a cause which she is passionate about.

The broad nature of her role provides an outlet for her voluntary and commercial income generating skills, to develop all the income streams across the organisation and to bring out the very best in the fundraising team of staff and volunteers.

Previously Jo worked at the NSPCC in the late nineties and early noughties, over the first 6 years of the Full Stop campaign. For Jo, this was was an incredibly exciting time to be part of the movement which led to a renaissance in how the public regarded child abuse.

Jo's past working life included being a commissioned officer in the Army for 8 years; a full time mum for 7 years; working in Community Fundraising at the NSPCC; Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Alzheimer’s Society and latterly owning and running a private healthcare business.

Jo is also a published writer and singer with her folk group Broomdasher.
