Biography

Lori Freeman is the VP, Nonprofit and NGO Solutions and Strategy at Salesforce.org where she leads a team of nonprofit/ngo industry leaders and product managers working to deliver global solutions for organizations of all shapes and sizes. She has worked and volunteered in the nonprofit industry for more than 25 years. Lori’s passion is helping nonprofits leverage technology to deliver more impact and to connect the helpers.
Prior to joining Salesforce, Freeman worked in a variety of marketing and product management roles at Sage, Convio and Blackbaud. Before working in the technology sector, Freeman was employed at the American Cancer Society, where she helped train, develop and implement mission critical systems for the National Cancer Information Center, a nationwide helpline -- open 24 hours a day, seven days a week -- that answers calls and e-mails from cancer patients, family members, and friends of cancer patients, and others who have questions about cancer-related issues.

She is a member of the greater Austin Chapter of AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals), NTEN (Nonprofit Technology Network), and a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Product Manager.She earned a BS degree in Family Studies and Human Services from Kansas State University. Lori is also an active volunteer in her community. Her volunteer efforts in recent years have been devoted to organizations focused on serving displaced persons.
